The Border Route Trail is 65 miles long that connects the Superior Trail to the Kekekabic Trail and was built by the Minnesota Rovers in the early 70’s. This year we will backpacking 4 miles to the South Lake campsite from Rockwood Lodge to set up base camp.  From the South Lake camp site we will maintain about 3 miles of trail using hand tools.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
