Paddle, Hike & Bike — Itasca State Park, MN

Category: Hiking, Bicycling, Paddling, Other Summer Activities

Fri - MonAug 30 - Sep 22019
  • Estimated Cost: $110
  • Deposit: $110
  • Max Trip Size: 30 people
Description:

Hike, bicycle, and paddle at iconic Itasca State Park. We have the entire Hostel to ourselves,  just across the road from beautiful Lake Itasca. Bring bikes, kayaks, and canoes (or you can rent at the park). Visit the fire tower for amazing views. Games, laughter, and/or music around the campfire in the evenings or a short hike over the headwaters of the mighty Mississippi River are likely. This is a cooperative trip where everyone pitches in to help with meals.

Estimated cost is $110 which includes 3 nights lodging, 8 meals (Saturday breakfast through Monday lunch), and last-day cleaning. It’s cheaper than staying home! Don’t dawdle! There’s always a summer-end rush and a wait list for this annual trip.

Contact Sue W for registration.  Current membership and deposit required to reserve a spot.  (Deposit is non-refundable if a replacement cannot be found.)  This popular trip always fills, so sign up quickly.
