Beginners Practice Winter Camping — Wawatosa Island on Lake Minnetonka, MN

• Max Trip Size: 8 people

We will meet at the Smith Bay boat launch on the south side of Lake Minnetonka and then snowshoe or ski across the lake to Wawatosa Island camping in a bay on the east side of the island. We will be practicing for our BWCA camping the next week. Bring all of the gear that you would need on a full winter camping trip to the BWCA to try it all out.
