If you are interested in birds or just interested in finding out if you might be interested, join this birding walk. We will locate and identify birds, as well as talk about them. It’s casual, low key and the participants work together to find and view birds. Membership in Rovers is not required as this is a day hike, and beginning birders (or those curious to find out what it is about and who does this type of thing) are welcome.
Please do not wear whites or brightly-colored clothing; wear clothing to fit the weather, including boots for potentially muddy trails – pet dogs cannot be included on the walks.
Bring binoculars if you have them, a smile, and a friendly attitude. Email or call if you have questions ([email protected] – 651-283-4477)
Look for my gray Toyota Highlander. After the walk, participants and others who could not make the walk, but would like to talk about birds or anything else, can meet at Cowboy Jacks in Bloomington.
Information: Meet at the parking lot at the north end of Old Cedar Ave Bridge in Bloomington.
