Announcing a Monday Evening Urban Hike! Details are as follows:
Time: 5:45 pm prompt. We’ll be going in a clockwise direction around the lake (headed to the left as you face the clock tower), so you’ll be able to find us if you arrive late.
Place: Meet at the clock tower on fountain plaza at Centennial Lakes in Edina
Address: 7499 France Avenue South, Edina, MN 55435
Additional Details: There are restrooms available, but no water. Parking is free in the lots. We will walk a lap around Centennial Lakes (1.5 miles), adding to it the Edina promenade (.75 miles out and back), and a loop around Yorktown and Adams Hill Parks for a total of about 4 miles. The trail surface is concrete which is fully cleared, and the paths are lighted. We’ll walk at a brisk, but not too fast pace. Friendly dogs are welcome to join in.
