Annual Black Hills Trip

Sat - SunSep 8 - Sep 162012
  • Estimated Cost: $100
  • Deposit: $30
  • Max Trip Size: 40 people
Description:

We have reserved the group camp site at Stockade Lake South within Custer State Park for the nights of Thursday through Saturday, September 13-15 only. Those coming earlier than Sept. 13th will need to make camping/lodging plans on their own. The $30 deposit only covers 9/13-9/15. Meals will also be on your own except for 9/15 last supper.

CLIMBERS: This is primarily an advanced rock climbing trip in Needles & Rushmore areas of South Dakota. There will be opportunity for sport climbing, some top rope and trad climbing.

NON-CLIMBERS are invited as well given the area’s abundance of attractions including: Mt. Rushmore, Mammoth digs, Crazy Horse, Mt. Harney hiking, biking, and paddling (not to mention the uniquely beautiful landscape of the Black Hills where we’ll spend most of our time).

Estimated cost: $100+. Deposit: $30. Max trip size: 40.
