Camping, Culture, Biology, and Ecology

Fri - SunOct 5 - Oct 72012
  • Estimated Cost: $50
  • Deposit: $20
  • Max Trip Size: 6 people
Description:

What these words have in common is they are all part of an upcoming trip. Are you interested? Each year, communities in western MN in the Upper Minnesota River Valley have an art crawl where artists display their creations at their studios and in downtown displays. The communities add music and pomp and by golly, we then have culture. Being Rovers, we are interspersing that event with timely birding, hiking, and camping at Laq qui Parle State Park-cabin camping that is. We might also spice it up with some canoeing, if the weather seems right.

Estimated cost: $50 + gas & art purchases. Deposit: $20. Max trip size: 6.
