Winter camping for 4 (possibly 5) at Lake Maria State Park, just a short distance from the cities and a beautiful weekend getaway that is so convenient it will not require using any of your precious vacation days. YAY!

Partake in skiing, hiking and/or snow shoeing on the gently rolling hills of Maria State Park while enjoying the company of friends in one of the parks wood heated camper cabins. The cabin is nestled in the hills overlooking a wetland and the quintessence of picturesque. Our weekend accommodation are a short hike away from parking areas on plowed and packed trails.

Meal details will be determined when we have the list of participants and will be based on a consensus of the attendees. A Minnesota Ski Pass is required if you plan to ski, $6 daily and $20 annual, as well as a state-park sticker for cars. A $35.00 deposit reserves your spot on this unforgettable weekend a short distance away from the cities. And best of all……the laughter is free!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
