    Summer Trips Hiking Other Beginners welcome Family friendly Day Trips Social Activity

    Opening Day of the MN Rovers Trailhead Challenge and our mission will be to kick it off right! Where are we going? Answer: Wherever the trail leads!

    The list of Trailheads will be posted the morning of Jan. 1. We’ll pick one or two and hit the road; along the way we’ll look for a place to hike 2-3 miles and stop for lunch at a local restaurant, wherever ’‘local’’ is that day.

    Boats, Boots, Bards, and Beer: Exploring Shakespeare Country by Canal and River — Warwickshire/ Worcestershire, England

    This is a two-week canal boat trip in the “Heart of England”, mostly in the counties of Warwickshire and Worcestershire. We will be passing through the cities of Stratford-upon-Avon and Worcester, as well as other interesting towns and villages.

    ​This trip to the Black Hills is about camping, climbing, hiking, and bicycling. The camping will be in Custer State Park by beautiful Stockade Lake. Nearby are the Needles Highway, Devil’s Tower, Wind and Jewel Cave tours, Mammoth dig, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, bike trails (including 109-mile Mikelson trail), hiking trails, Badlands National Park, Hot Springs, and many more places.
